Bella a Cappella has competed four times in the Region 35 Sweet Adelines national competitions, earning three gold medals and a silver.  We also won the Most Improved Chorus trophy twice. In the 2017 national competition we qualified to sing in an international contest which took us to St Louis, Missouri, USA in 2018, where we placed fifth in the top five eligible small choruses internationally.  We are the third small chorus to achieve an invitation to this contest in the history of Sweet Adelines in New Zealand.
